Good Friday Book giveaway and Webinar Announcement

I have recently become friends with Jon Nicol of worshipteamcoach.com. Jon gave me a free copy of his most recent book Eight Words before The Cross, and he has offered me a chance to give away 10 free copies. This is a short but sweet devotional book. It is an ebook of about 16 pages long that reminds me of Max Lucado’s writing. You can get a good sample of the book here.

The subtitle of the book is “A Good Friday Meditation”. Nicol vividly retells the events of Peter’s denial and Jesus’ response. He puts you in the scene–helping you imagine yourself as part of the action. However, he goes beyond just telling the story well. This book is also a call for you to consider your response to the love of Jesus. This would be a great book to share with others during the season of Lent, and especially in preparation for a Good Friday service.

Nicol has made this available to share with your praise team or church family by purchasing a license which starts at $25 for 100 copies. This is a great way for you to challenge your congregation to seriously consider the events leading up to the cross. He also offers the ability to share the book with family or friends who don’t know Christ at no charge.
